I'm working oh so slowly on the new shadowbox. I've got the thing papermached and most of the base colors are on. Some of the things are entirely painted, like the sun. But this one is almost painful it's going so slow. I'm feeling stuck with the colors though. Part of it is that I'm running out of paints and I have no money to buy any so I'm stuck with the colors I have and the ones I can create with the ones I have. It's a little depressing.
We went for a big walk today, Jeff and the kids and I. We walked and sat by a tadpole filled pond and sweated and visited and had a great time. Jeff and Stu held sweaty hands for a good part of the walk, that was so cute. Jeff and Robin walked way ahead of us for part of the walk while they discussed guy things, that was cute too.
Tomorrow the kids have archery (Jeff's coming to that too) and then they have chess with other homeschoolers. Then Stu and I need to make cupcakes for the Camp Fire sponsered Saturday morning Easter egg hunt open to the whole city. We're talking wheelbarrows full of cupcakes (luckily our pantry is full of flour and sugar)!
Jeff has been using his week off to work in the yard, front and back, fix the bbq, help clean the house, do homework, play and play with the kids, search for a job to get us through the summer (till he starts teaching), and just relax. It's been so nice.

Oh, you HAVE to take a picture of a wheelbarrow full of cupcakes, 'cause that just sounds too funny.
